Mexican Queso Blanco Party Dip

Ingredients

  • 16 oz heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 4 oz can hatch chilis
  • 3/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt or to taste
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • 8 oz grated imported Mexican Queso Blanco cheese
  • Optional garnishes diced tomato, sliced jalapenos, diced peppers, cilantro

Instructions

  1. Place heavy cream and cream cheese in a medium saucepan set over low heat for 5 minutes, breaking up cream cheese and stirring with a wooden spoon until smooth. Stir in chilis, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and cayenne. Add imported Queso Blanco cheese and whisk until smooth and melted. Serve warm with optional garnishes and tortilla chips for dipping.

Tip: To give this dip even more of a kick add minced fresh jalapenos, chopped pickled jalapenos, or an extra can of hot chilis.
